Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of JISM, an AI-powered nutrition and fitness coaching service delivered through WhatsApp and a companion web dashboard, operated from Egypt ("JISM", "we", "us"). By messaging JISM on WhatsApp, subscribing, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What JISM is

JISM is a conversational health assistant. You chat with it on WhatsApp to log meals, workouts, water and weight; it estimates calories and macros, tracks your progress, sends reminders and gives general nutrition and fitness guidance. A web dashboard shows charts and summaries of your data. Features vary by plan.

2. Health disclaimer — please read this carefully

JISM is an informational coaching tool, not medical advice. JISM is not a doctor, dietitian or licensed healthcare provider, and nothing it says is a diagnosis, treatment or medical recommendation. Calorie, macro and calorie-burn figures are estimates and can be inaccurate.

Always consult a qualified physician before starting or changing a diet or exercise program — especially if you have a medical condition (such as diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease or an eating disorder), are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take medication. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something JISM told you. If you think you have a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these terms. In short: because JISM is a digital service activated immediately, payments are non-refundable except in the specific cases listed there (e.g. we couldn't activate your service, or you were charged in error).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with a refund only where our Refund Policy requires one.

8. Your data & privacy

How we collect, use and protect your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. You keep ownership of the content you send us (messages, photos, voice notes); you grant us the license needed to process it to operate the service — e.g. to analyze a meal photo and log it for you.

9. Service availability & changes

We work hard to keep JISM available, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available" — we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and it depends on third parties we don't control (WhatsApp, payment and AI providers). We may add, change or remove features; if we materially reduce what your paid plan includes, we'll notify you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: JISM and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or health outcomes arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service — including reliance on nutritional estimates or coaching guidance. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute that we can't resolve amicably will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Egypt.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll notify you (e.g. on WhatsApp). Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
