A calorie counter that works inside WhatsApp

How it works
You save JISM's number and message it like a friend. On the first message it sends you a short form about you (age, height, weight, activity and goal) and sets personal daily targets for calories and macros from it. From then on, every meal you send is identified, measured against a food database, and logged.
- Type it: "two eggs, a slice of toast and a coffee with milk".
- Photograph it: a picture of the plate is enough; JISM estimates the portions and tells you what it assumed so you can correct it.
- Scan it: a photo of a barcode or a nutrition label logs the exact product.
- Say it: a voice note in Arabic or English works the same way as text.
- Paste a video: a TikTok, Instagram or Facebook food video link is turned into a dish with its calories and ingredients.
Why WhatsApp instead of an app
Most people stop tracking because logging is slow: open the app, search a list, pick a portion, repeat. On WhatsApp the tracker lives in the app you already open all day, and logging is one message. You also get the reverse: JISM can message you first, with optional reminders and a recap of your day, so tracking does not depend on you remembering to open anything.
What you see
After each meal JISM replies with the meal's calories and macros and what is left for the day. Calories burned in a logged workout are added back to that day's budget. For the bigger picture there is a private web dashboard with your calories, macros, weight, water and training over time, and subscribers receive a weekly report with three measurable goals for the next week.
The numbers behind your targets are explained, with sources, in the guide to how daily calories are calculated.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a calorie counter that works on WhatsApp?
Yes. JISM counts calories and macros directly in a WhatsApp chat. You send a text, a photo, a barcode, a voice note or a food video link and it replies with the calories, protein, carbs and fat, then logs the meal.
Do I need to download an app?
No. JISM works entirely inside WhatsApp on iPhone, Android and WhatsApp Web.
How accurate is a photo?
A photo gives an estimate of the portion. JISM states the portion it assumed so you can correct it in one message. A barcode, a nutrition label or a weight you type is more precise.
Is it free?
Every new user gets a 3-day free trial with no card. After that there are two plans, Standard and Pro, priced in your local currency on the pricing page. Payments are one-time and never renew automatically.
